Mittlerweile hat sich auch der Entwickler zur Leistungsfähigkeit der Wii-Konsole geäußert:

The Wii has been ever so slightly criticised for being underpowered compared to its competitors. When we say slightly, we mean a lot.
So, it makes a welcome change to hear somebody actually praising the system in terms of horsepower.
In support of Wii's technical ability, Geoff Thomas, producer at Radical Entertainment told CVG that Nintendo's console can pack a fair punch in the graphical department.
Speaking about his latest project, Scarface: The World is Yours, being reworked for Wii, Thomas said: "The Wii has a lot of horsepower under the hood and we're making full use of it.
"We've overhauled our graphics engine to get the most out of the console by updating all of the shaders responsible for rendering the environment, vehicle, and characters. In many ways Scarface looks sharper on the Wii than it does on the PS2 and Xbox."
Although graphics are not considered by many to be as important as it is regularly made out, it would be lovely if more developers and companies took note of this.
Nun, schaut man sich die Screenshots auf ign.com an, sehe ich zwar keine großartigen Unteschiede zu den schon veröffentlichten Versionen aber gut...vielleicht wird ja noch daran gefeilt.
Scarface ist jedenfalls das einzige GTA-inspirierte Spiel das mich interessiert. Zum einen fand ich den Film absolut genial und zum anderen scheint auch das schon veröffentlichte Spiel (sofern man den Wertungen glauben schenken darf) wirklich sehr gut zu sein. Ich warte mal ab, wie sich die Wii-Version entwickelt und dann werde ich vielleicht zur UK-Fassung greifen.
